Packers place Jenkins on I.R.

Cullen Jenkins The Green Bay Packers have placed defensive end Cullen Jenkins (pictured) on season ending injured reserve with a chest injury and signed defensive end Kenny Pettway.

Jenkins, a fifth year pro, had started all four games for the Packers this season.  He tallied 18 tackles (13 solo), 2 1/2 sacks, one pass defensed and one forced fumble on the season.

Pettway, a 6'4, 248-pound third year player out of Grambling State was a 7th round pick by Houston in 2005.  He spent the last two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, appearing in 17 games and collecting 12 tackles, 3 sacks and a forced fumble.
