Sabathia Named Team MVP

Pitcher CC Sabathia was named the Brewers team MVP by the Milwaukee Chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America.  He was also named the team's Top Newcomber, and Top Pitcher after going 11-2 with a 1.65 ERN in 17 starts with the Brewers.  He received all 7 first place votes for the Most Valuable Pitcher and Top Newcomber Award and 6 of 7 for team MVP.  The other MVP vote went to Ryan Braun.

Catcher Jason Kendall was voted the team's "Unsung Hero: while Craig Counsell was named the Brewers "Good Guy."  The BBWAA also announced that pitcher Eric Gagne was the winner of the Michael Harrison Award for Community Service.
