Bargain flights

November 28, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Fewer people may be flying recently but that doesn't mean it's costing more. Pat Rowe, spokeswoman for Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport , believes people "fear that airfares are higher than they actually are." She adds people can still fly out of Milwaukee to the East Coast, West Coast or South for two to three hundred dollars.

Even those who've researched flights earlier this fall may be surprised on how far their dollar takes them now, especially for those who are "flexible" on their dates.

"People who had looked at prices for traveling a month or two ago and thought they were too high, should take another look," says Rowe.

She encourages all passengers to double check the TSA website for travel restriction information.
