Badgers hang on to beat Idaho State

December 10, 2008 By WRN Contributor

You'd never know it by Idaho State's 2-6 record, but they're an improving basketball team that's not easy to beat.  The Badgers found that out at the Kohl Center last night, hanging on for a 60-58 over the Bengals in Madison.

Idaho State had already upset Utah this season and they were trying to turn the tables on the Badgers as well.  The Bengals held the Badgers to 37% shooting from the field, but Wisconsin did enough work at the free throw line (15 of 22), going 4 for 6 in the final minute to hang on for the win.

Jason Bohannon tied his collegiate high with 18 points and he made all 6 of his free throws.  Marcus Landry added 14 points and Jon Leuer chipped in with 11 off the bench.  The Badgers improved to 6-2 with the win.
