December 10, 2008 By WRN Contributor

For the seconsd time in recent weeks, a a bar fight takes a deadly turn in downtown madison. A 27 year old race car mechanic from florida, who was in town for training, has died from his injuries following a dispute at the Crave Restaraunt and Lounge over the weekend. Police spokesman Joel Despain notes Crave is near the Plaza tavern, where a 22 year old Madison man was fatally stabbed following a fight in September.

Eduardo Cademartori of DeLand, Fla., was found just before 2 a.m. Sunday near W. Johnson and State streets, about a block from Crave , where the incident began. Cademartori was confronted by three people at the intersection and lost consciousness after he was hit in the head and fell.

Despain says police are still trying to piece together what led up to this recent fight. An employee of the Crave, and the man police believe delivered the fatal blow, are in custody, and investigators are still looking for a third man.
