The 3-day run of top-notch wrestling has come to a close at the Kohl Center in Madison as the 2009 WIAA State Individual Wrestling Championships wrapped up.

14-wrestlers were crowned champions in each of three divisions.  The winning wrestlers were headlined by Tomahawk's Nick Hager, who won the 140 lb. championship, 8-0 over Sam Manders of Freedom.  Hager captured his fourth state title, becoming just the 10th wrestler in championship history to win a state title in each of his four years of high school.

WRN Wrestling Reporter Joe Miller was on hand for the entire tournament and recapped the event.
