January 14, 2009 By WRN Contributor

A man family members say was prone to sleepwalking was found dead of exposure to subzero temperatures Tuesday outside his rural Hayward home.

Sawyer CountyChief Deputy Tim Zeigle said the 51 year-old man was reported missing about 11:15 Tuesday morning by his son. Deputies followedprints in the snow from the man's bare feet, and found him, dressed for bed, about 190 yards from his home, according to a press release. The victim's identity was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
