Miami reserve leads Heat to win in Milwaukee

January 15, 2009 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Bucks did a good job on Miami Heat all-star guard Dwayne Wade, holding him to 17 points on 5 of 20 shooting from the field.  But reserve Daequan Cook hit six 3-pointers en route to a career-high 24 points and the Heat beat the Bucks 102-99 at the Bradley Center.  Wade did manage to dish out 13 assists for the Heat.

The Bucks got 25 points from Luke Ridnour and 16 from Michael Redd.  The Bucks got to within 97-95 in the final two minutes, but squandered several opportunities to tie.

The Bucks now head west to open a 3-game road trip at Sacramento on Friday night.
