Bucks outrebounded, but get by Denver

February 23, 2009 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Bucks were outrebounded by 17 yesterday, but still managed to make enough plays down the stretch to knock off the Denver Nuggets 120-117 at the Bradley Center.

Charlie Villanueva scored 9 of his season high 36 points in the 4th quarter and Ramon Sessions atted 27 points for the Bucks.  Villanueva also tied a career high with seven 3-pointers.

Carmelo Anthony had 33 points for the Nuggets, who finish an 8-game road trip with a 5-3 record.  The Bucks went 1-2 on their 3-game home stand and will play the next two on the road, starting with a trip to Dallas on Wednesday.
