Film producers from all over the world are in Beloit this weekend to show their work, during the 4th annual Beloit International Film Festival. Hundreds of films are being presented through Sunday at nine viewing locations.
Among those presenting is Dedric Jouarie, who says he tried to express himself in other ways, but film is what works for him. Jouarie is showing a "short" this year, but aspires to do features. He has an idea for his next piece.
Producer Stephen McEveety is serving as chairman of the festival. He says the festival is "just a baby" but he expects it to continue attracting people from around the world who love the art of film.
McEveety has produced films such as "Braveheart" and "The Passion of the Christ."
