Looking beyond the recession for jobs

A Madison "headhunter" says companies might not be hiring now, but don't be discouraged.

Bill Schultz of MRI Sales Consultants of Madison, an employment recruiting firm, admits times are tough for many job seekers. However, he says businesses should look down the road to better times and stock up on resumes because many qualified and talented people are out of work and looking for jobs.

Even if they aren't planning to hire someone for the next several months, Schultz suggests that companies interview prospects now and prepare for what's hoped to be an economic turnaround.
