Marquette climbs in polls with U-Conn on the horizon

February 24, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Marquette climbed to 8th in the men's A.P. Top 25 college basketball poll, up two spots from 10th a week ago.  They climb to 10th in the coaches Top 25 poll, up from number 11 last week.

The Golden Eagles are getting ready for tomorrow (Wednesday) night's matchup against 2nd ranked Connecticutt at the Bradley Center.  It's the first trip for U-Conn to Milwaukee since the 2005-06 season.  Marquette upset the Huskies that year, a game that was the Golden Eagles first as a member of the Big East Conference.
