Shouse agrees to free agent deal in Tampa

February 2, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Free Agent left handed pitcher Brian Shouse has reportedly agreed to a 2-year deal with the Tampa Bay Rays.  The move is expected to be made official when Shouse passes a physical.

Shouse went 5-1 with a 2.81 ERA and 2 saves for the Milwaukee Brewers last season.  The Brewers wanted Shouse back in Milwaukee but weren't willing to give him a two-year deal.
