Badgers Begin Spring Drills

March 25, 2009 By WRN Contributor

The Wisconsin football team opened up Spring Practice on Tuesday afternoon in Madison.  The Badgers have lots of questions coming off of a 7-6 season that saw them get blown out by Florida State in the Champs Sports Bowl.

One of the big questions UW has to answer is who will start at quarterback.  Senior Dustin Sherer started the 2nd half of last season and coach Brett Bielema says the senior must prove his by far the best QB on the team to win the starting job.  Also in the mix are; sophomore Scott Tolzien, redshirt freshman Curt Phillips, and true freshman Jon Budmayr.

The annual Spring Game is set for Saturday, April 18th at Camp Randall Stadium.
