Golden Eagles Out of NCAA

Missouri edged Marquette 83-69 on Sunday to advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.  The Golden Eagles trailed by as many as 16 points in the game but rallied to take a four point lead with less than two minutes left in the 2nd half.  The Tigers came back and took the lead on a pair of free throws by freshman Kim English who shot free throws with 5.5 seconds left for JT Tiller who was shaken up when he was fouled.  Lazar Hayward stepped over the baseline trying to inbound the ball and MU goes home.  Jerel McNeal led the way with 30 points.  Wes Matthews added 24.  Dominic James retunrned from a broken foot to play, but he did not score.
