Lady Badgers still alive in Big Ten Tournament

The Badger women's basketball team overcame a 12-point deficit and upset 2nd seeded Michigan State 56-50 in the Big Ten Women's Tournament quarterfinals.  The 7th seeded Badgers (18-13) move into the semifinals on Saturday. 

Sophomore Tara Steinbauer scored 15 points while sophomore Lin Zastrow added 11 and junior point guard Rae Lin D'Alie added 10 points, a career high-tying eight rebounds and a season-high 6 steals. 

The Badgers forced 25 Spartan turnovers and limited Michigan State to 32% shooting in the second half.  The Badgers hit 15 of 19 free throws and improved to 5-0 on neutral courts this season.
