Work crew finds dead man's car

March 5, 2009 By WRN Contributor

A construction crew in Racine discovers a car in a river, and police say it belongs to a man whose body was found nearby. Sergeant Bernie kupper says the car came down a hill leading into a central city park, but didn't make a curve near the bottom.

Kupper says the work crew had been in that vicinity recently, but a higher water level obscured the vehicle until recently. Thurman Golden's body was found by fishermen. Family reported the 57 year-old missing after some bar time last week Friday. Circumstances of his death remain a mystery.
