Brewers top pick clubs first pro home run

Brett Lawrie The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers picked up their second straight win to open the 2009 season, knocking off Quad Cities 10-1 at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute on Friday night. 

Brett Lawrie homered and drove in three runs to lead the Timber Rattlers.  Lawrie's homer was his first professional hit.  Evan Frederickson struck out seven and allowed one run over five innings for the win. 

The Brewers new Class "A" affiliate is off to a 2-0 start this season.
