It's all Gallardo in Brewers win

April 9, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Yovani Gallardo made sure the Milwaukee Brewers didn't start the season 0-2 and he did it almost entirely by himself.

Gallardo worked into the 7th inning, holding the Giants to 6-hits, then clubbed a 3-run homer off of Giants lefty Randy Johnson to lead the Brewers to a 4-2 win.  Gallardo missed most of last season with knee injuries, but he looked good on Wednesday in helping the Brewers win their first game of the season and even their record at 1-1.

Mike Cameron also homered to lead the Brewers in the win.
