Soccer at Lambeau Field?

April 9, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Lambeau Field Could Lambeau Field field a soccer game in the future?  The organization that governs World Cup soccer is exploring the idea of holding an exhibition match at Lambeau Field.  The match would be in 2018 or 2022 if the U.S. is selected as the host.

The field isn't wide enough to hold a regulation game, but an exhibition is still a possibility.

The Green Bay Packers have until April 17 to respond to a letter gauging their interest in hosting a game.
