April 11, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Steve Stricker Madison area native Steve Stricker has made the cut at the Masters and goes into the weekend in pretty good shape to play among the leaders.

After an even par 72 on Thursday, Stricker fired a 3-under par 69 on day two and finds himself 6-shots behind co-leaders Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell.  Perry fired a 5-under 67 on Friday to move into a tie for the lead.

Anthony Kim had the best round of the day.  His 7 under par 65 included a Masters record 11-birdies.  Kim moves to 4-under par and is 5-shots back.

Tiger Woods, after going 2 under on Thursday, struggled with an even par 72 on Friday.  He's 2-under par, 7-shots off the lead.
