Typical: Bucks blow big lead, lose season finale

April 16, 2009 By WRN Contributor

They've been down this road before.  The Milwaukee Bucks blew a 17-point fourth quarter lead and fell to the Indiana Pacers 115-108 in their season finale in Indianapolis.

The Bucks finished with a 34-48 record and in last place in the NBA's Central Division.

Danny Granger drilled 5 three-pointers in the game and led the Pacers fourth quarter comeback. scoring 35 points for his 23rd 30 point game of the season.  Richard Jefferson had 31 points to lead the Bucks in defeat.

At one point this season, the Bucks were in playoff contention.  But they closed out by losing 17 of their last 23 games.

Coach Scott Skiles and General Manager John Hammond now begin assessing the team and its players, trying to figure out who'll be around for next season.
