CWS Update: Wooster adds to the lead

May 22, 2009 By WRN Contributor

In the fourth inning, Carthage College put the first two runners on base and failed to score them.  In fact, the Red Men had runners and 2nd and 3rd with no outs and failed to score anyone.

Then in the bottom half of 4th, the College of Wooster leadoff man Sean Karpen slugged a 2-out solo home run to left to give the Scots a 3-1 lead after four innings at the NCAA Div. 3 CWS.
