Five Wisconsin teams advance to NCAA Div. 3 Regionals

Wisconsin will be well represented in the upcoming NCAA Division 3 baseball regionals which get underway Wednesday.

In the Central Regional, hosted by Augustana College of Illinois in Moline, Carthage College and UW-Whitewater will battle with four other schools for the right to play in the NCAA Division 3 College World Series at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute May 22-26.

Three more state teams will play in the Midwest Regional at UW-Oshkosh.  St. Norbert College, UW-Stevens Point and Beloit College all advanced to the 54 team regional field.
