Former GOP House member eyes Guv race

May 5, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Mark Neumann admits he is an underdog in a Governor's race against fellow Republican Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker. However, he says they will “work their tails off” over the next year to bring their vision to Wisconsinites.

The former southern Wisconsin Congressman says for the past ten years he's been in the private sector creating jobs. He touted to reporters that while serving four years in the House, Congress passed the biggest tax cut in American history, along with a balanced budget.

Neumann wants to develop the best educated people in world in Wisconsin and implementing policies that are pro-environment while being pro-business.

Neumann is expected to declare later this year a gubernatorial run.
