May 3, 2009 By WRN Contributor

A Madison man is in custody after trying to meet, and have sex with, a person he thought was a 15-year-old girl. Florencio Briseno-Resendiz, 36, Madison, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Saturday in a public parking lot in Milton, according to a news release from the City of Milton Police Department.

Briseno-Resendiz was taken into custody on charges of child enticement and use of a computer to facilitate a sex crime, both felonies. The arrest stems from the Milton Police Department’s participation in the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and is the result of an ongoing investigation involving Briseno-Resendiz,
according to the news release. Briseno-Resendiz is in custody at Rock County Jail.
