Off to prison for child porn

May 18, 2009 By WRN Contributor

A New Richmond man is sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for possessing child pornography. 37-year-old Jason Pape has been sentenced in U-S District Court in Madison to seven years, six month in prison without parole. He'll be on supervised released for the rest of his life.

In May 2008 New Richmond police and Polk County sheriffs deputies searched Pape's home in New Richmond and a home in Osceola. Prosecutors say law enforcement officers found numerous images of child pornography on his computer hard drives.
