Brewers Lose To Twins

June 24, 2009 By WRN Contributor

The Twins sent the Brewers to their 4 th straight loss and 10 th in 14 games last night with a 7-3 win at Miller Park. Brewers starter Jeff Suppan gave up 7 runs in five innings of work.  Just four of those runs were earned in the loss.  Francisco Lirano labored to pick up the win with just five frames on the hill. The series continues tonight as Braden Looper gets the start for Milwaukee.  Nick Blackburn takes the hill for the Twins.

Dave Bush was placed on the disabled list last night with arm fatigue and Mike Burns was recalled from Triple-A Nashville and will start Thursday against the Twins.
