A Minnesota man dies along the St. Croix River. This morning at 1:15 AM, the Polk County Sheriff's Department was notified that a person fell off a cliff at Interstate Park in St. Croix Falls. Rescue personnel located 22 year-old Skylar Francisco of Roseville, Minnesota at base of a cliff. Francisco had fallen approximately forty feet and suffered critical injuries. He was taken by ambulance to St. Croix Regional Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.

Francisco and five other people were at Interstate Park after hours and were in a restricted area. Francisco was sitting on the cliff edge and fell off while talking with friends. The death remains under investigation.
