Jennings Ready To Ink Deal

June 24, 2009 By WRN Contributor

It looks like Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings will get his contract extension.  Multiple reports say that Jennings will sign a long-term deal that will make him the 2 nd highest paid receiver in football.  Jennings could make between $8 and $10 million dollars per season, which would only trail the Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald.  Jennings would also be the 2 nd highest paid Packer behind Aaron Rodgers.  The deal will run through 2012.

The Packers have one workout scheduled for this morning before wrapping up their final offseason mini-camp.  Green Bay will then be off until August 1 st when training camp opens.
