No soccer at Lambeau Field

June 17, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Lambeau Field As it turns out, there'll be no soccer at Lambeau Field.  The Stadium didn't make the list of proposed venues for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup, according to U.S. Soccer officials.

Lambeau Field was on the preliminary list of 58 stadiums.  That list was reduced to 45 stadiums and the home of the Packers didn't make that list.
