UW-Green Bay hires Kalsow as assistant

June 19, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay head men's basketball coach Tod Kowalczyk has officially announced the hiring of Jason Kalsow as assistant coach.  Kalsow spent last season as the team's director of basketball operations.

Kalsow was an integral part of the UW-Stevens Point men's basketball program prior to becoming a Phoenix.  He was a standout player for the NCAA Division III Pointers, helping the squad to a pair of national championships in 2004 and 2005.  During his four years, UW-Stevens Point amassed a 103-18 record and won three conference championships.

Kalsow ranks as the school's all-time scoring and rebounding leader.
