Woman stabs dog

June 23, 2009 By WRN Contributor

A Madison woman is accused of stabbing her puppy in the neck for making too much noise. 46-year-old Susanne Burgaz allegedly tried mending the wound with superglue. When that didn't work she called police. Burgaz tried blaming a male friend, but police spokesman Joel Despain says the investigation points to her. Despain says the dog, named Shep, was barking and yelping in his crate which led to the stabbing Sunday. The 3-month-old German Shepherd is expected to recover.
