Baniel named Packers' Vice President of Finance

The Green Bay Packers have named Paul Baniel Vice President of Finance.  Baniel is a certified public accountant and the former Vice Presidnet of Finance for the Milwaukee Brewers and has an extensive background in professional sports finance to the organization. 

Baniel comes to the Packers from Milwaukee, where he spent the last six years as the Chief Financial Officer of Potawatomi Bingo Casino.

Prior to that, Baniel worked 16 seasons for the Milwaukee Brewers from 1987 through 2002.  He served as the team's Vice President of Finance as well as Treasurer and Secretary for the final eight years of his tenure, coordinating the financing for the construction of a new stadium.
