Charges dismissed in Jolly case

July 16, 2009 By WRN Contributor

The drug possession case against Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Johnny Jolly was dismissed today (Thursday), but prosecutors expect to refile the case soon.

Jolly was arrested in Houston last July for possession of a controlled substance.  He was scheduled to go to trial on Friday, but will avoid that process for now.  It's expected that charges will be refiled within 90 days.
