July 7, 2009 By WRN Contributor

This year's Major League All-Star Game in St. Louis will have an Appleton flavor as five players in next Tuesdays game made a minor league stop in Appleton.  The Phillies Raul Ibanez and Cardinals Ryan Franklin played for the Appleton Foxes and will be on the National League squad.  The Angels Brian Fuentes, Seattle's Felix Hernandez, and Baltimore's Adam Jones all played for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and have made the All-Star roster.
