Police seize 26 lbs of pot

July 10, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Two Janesville residents are in custody after police seized 26 pounds pot from their home.  Sgt Jim Holford, says in his 23 years on the force, it's the largest marijuana single marijuana seizure. The bust more than doubled last year's seizure rate for the drug.

Forty-year-old Thomas R Reents and 38-year-old Shirley Rotzoll were taken into custody Thursday afternoon after police executed a search warrant which Holford says appears to have been operating as a drug house for quite some time.
