Walk off loss for crew

Brandon Moss hit a walkoff home run off in the bottom of the 9th giving Pittsburgh an 8-7 win at PNC Park Wednesday afternoon.  Moss’ big blow came off of Mitch Stetter.  Ryan Braun and Casey McGhee both hit homers in a losing effort. Braun was 2×5 with a double and 4 total RBI to go along with his homer.

The Pirates hit five total homers in the game including a pair for Ryan Doumit.  Stetter took the loss while Matt Capps was the winner. Starter Jeff Suppan gave up five runs on seven hits in just 3 and a third inningsof work.

The Crew takes Thursday off before opening up a three game series with Atlanta on Friday night at Miller Park.
