Suppan struggles in rehab again!

August 21, 2009 By Bill Scott

Another rehab outing for Jeff Suppan and another poor result.  The Brewers right hander, pitching for Triple “A” Nashville on Thursday night, allowed 5 runs on 8 hits in 3 2/3 innings with no walks and three strikeouts.

In Suppan’s first rehab outing with Class “A” Wisconsin, Suppan gave up 4 runs on 5 hits in 3 1/3 innings of work.

No word from the Brewers as to what’s next for Suppan.  The Brewers open a 4-game series in Washington DC against the Nationals tonight.  Braden Looper (10-6) gets the start for the Brewers.
