Badger women’s hockey splits with ND

October 5, 2009 By Bill Scott

The Badger women’s hockey team will likely fall from their perch at the top of the women’s college hockey polls after a season opening split against North Dakota this weekend at the Kohl Center.

The Fighting Sioux won the opener 2-0 on Friday as the Badgers raised their 2008-09 Championship banner to the rafters at the Kohl Center.  Wisconsin rebounded to win the nightcap 3-0.
