Memorials Blue commits to Marquette

October 18, 2009 By Bill Scott

Madison Memorials 6’4 guard Vander Blue took an official visit to Marquette over the weekend and followed up by announcing that he’ll play college basketball for the Golden Eagles.

Blue had originally given an oral commitment to play for the Wisconsin Badgers earlier, but he changed his mind and announced that he would entertain going to another school other than Madison.

Vander Blue will join his good friend Jeronne Maymon, who is a freshman forward on this years Marquette squad.
