Multiple victims in Madison area shootings

December 4, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Four people were shot-to-death last night in the Madison area, and police say they’re looking for a 38-year-old male suspect. A mother and a daughter were found dead just after six o’clock in a car parked in a garage at a duplex on the southwest side of Madison. Police said a person came home, found the bodies, and called 9-1-1.

Other victims were discovered at 8:30, the bodies of a woman and a girl were found in a car trunk in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Middleton. Officials said those victims were apparently driven to the parking lot, and the girl was two-to-three years old.

Madison Police spokesman Joel DeSpain said the shootings appear to be related to domestic incidents. The Wisconsin State Journal said the suspect, Tyrone Adair, was involved in paternity cases with two women last year and one of them lived at the place where two of the murder victims were found.

Adair is a black man, 5’10” 175 pounds and might be driving a Silver GMC Acadia Crossover SUV with Wisconsin Plate Number 342-EBL.
