December 4, 2009 By WRN Contributor

Beloit police say they have arrested a suspect in last Wednesday’s shooting of a 32-year-old man.

Police Captain William Tyler says 18-year-old James E. Johnson faces charges including First Degree Reckless Injury, Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Resisting Arrest. Tyler says the shooting happened after an altercation at a home on Euclid Avenue.

The victim, Dustin Haseman, spent several days in the intensive care unit at the hospital, but is expected to survive.
