Tough year for NE WI businesses

December 19, 2009 By WRN Contributor

2009 was a bad year for many companies in northeast Wisconsin. A survey of businesses shows that most businesses in all sectors of the economy did not meet their expectation this year.

First Business Bank conducted the survey. Mickey Noone is the bank’s northeast region president. He says the manufacturing sector was hit the hardest.

Noone says most company leaders say there is some light at the end of the tunnel in 2010. This is the second year that the bank has conducted the business survey.
