Arrest made in murder of Altoona woman

January 8, 2010 By WRN Contributor

Police have made an arrest in an Eau Claire County murder case.

The live-in boyfriend of a 43-year-old Theresa Still has been arrested. Police arrested Greg Gubernot early Friday morning in Forest County in northeastern Wisconsin.

Still was least seen in Altoona December 27th. Her body was found in a wooded area of Adams County 80 miles away, three days later. The cause of death was ruled “complex homicidal violence.”

Gubernot had been named as the only person of interest in the case, although he was not been in custody. Police said he was cooperating with investigators.
