It wasn’t until more than halfway through the second half that the Wisconsin Badgers finally took a lead. The 18th ranked Badgers went on to beat Michigan 54-48 at the Kohl Center.
Trevon Hughes scored 20 points and Rob Wilson added a career-high 13 off the bench to lead the Badgers. Hughes said at halftime they decided it was time to protect the home court.

The Badgers won despite hitting just 4 of their 24 three-point attempts. Wisconsin improved to 15-4 overall and 5-2 in the Big Ten. They’ll host Penn State on Saturday.
