Green Bay’s Fletcher is Horizon League’s Player of the Week

January 19, 2010 By Bill Scott

For the second time this season, UW-Green Bay Phoenix point guard Rahmon Fletcher was voted the Horizon League’s Player of the Week.  Fletcher previously won the award on Dec. 6th and joins Butler’s Gordon Hayward as multi-time winners this year.

Fletcher averaged 21.0 points and 3.5 assists per game in a pair of Green Bay conference wins last week.  He shot 53% from the floor during the 2-game stretch.

Fletcher ranks second in the league in scoring with 17.2 points per game and is averaging a league-high 20.1 points in conference games.

Green Bay returns to action tonight with a non-conference game at Houston Baptist.
