Badger women’s hoops fall at Purdue

Chelsea Jones of Purdue hit a jumper with 3 seconds left to give the Boilermakers a 58-56 win over the Wisconsin Badgers in West Lafayette, Ind.

Wisconsin led, 56-53, with 1:46 to play, but Purdue’s Brittany Rayburn hit a three-pointer with 57-seconds left to tie the game 56-56.  The Badgers had a couple more chances before Jones late heroics for Purdue.

The loss dropped the Badgers to 7-6 in the Big Ten and 17-7 overall.
