Koepp guilty of triple homicide

February 3, 2010 By WRN Contributor

After just an hour and a half of deliberation, a jury returns three guilty verdicts for 51-year-old James Koepp of Janesville. He was convicted Tuesday night of killing Danyetta Lentz are her two teenage children, Nicole and Scott. The family was found murdered in their mobile home in January of 2007.

Rock County District Attorney David O’Leary says DNA evidence was very important to the prosecution’s case.

Judge Alan Bates has scheduled sentencing for April 27. The charges each carry a mandatory life sentence but Bates will determine when, or if, Koepp will be eligible for parole.
