Leuer returns back to practice with Badgers

February 16, 2010 By Bill Scott

Jon LeuerWisconsin’s Jon Leuer was cleared to practice yesterday (Monday), for the first time since breaking his left wrist back on January 9th.

The Badgers are 6-3 in Leuer’s absence, but they may not have to play without him anymore.  The Minnesota native could play Thursday night when the Badgers take on the Minnesota Gophers in Big Ten action.  Leuer said he’s in good shape, but will still have to knock the rust off.
